At the Health Innovation Via Engineering (HIVE) Laboratory, we are at the forefront of merging medical knowledge with engineering innovation to create groundbreaking health solutions. Hosted within the Lambe Institute for Translational Research at the University of Galway, the HIVE Lab was established in 2019 with a vision to revolutionize healthcare through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Under the leadership of Professor Derek O’Keeffe, a visionary who holds dual qualifications as a Physician and Engineer, our team is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in digital health and clinical care.
